Modernizing Water Governance in Ethiopia: Solar Success in Off-Grid Water Service Delivery

The successful national rural water supply program of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (GoE) is open to incorporating new pathways to providing safe water supplies in the most remote and environmentally harsh areas of the country. The USAID Lowland WASH Activity supported GoE by piloting and refining solar water pumping schemes in the challenging Lowland Regions.
