Through Isoko y’Ubuzima (“source of life”), USAID works to improve access to drinking water and sanitation services through a combination of technical and financial support.
The Isuku Iwacu Project, co-implemented by Water For People, SNV and World Vision with financial support from the USAID, has now concluded and helped bring sanitation services and products to thousands of people across its 8 target districts in Rw
Conduct Hygiene Promotion sessions for affected populations. Construct family latrines at transitional shelters. Conduct assessment of existing water systems and rehab water treatment systems.
The Isuku Iwacu Activity (also known as Rwanda Rural Sanitation Activity) is a four-year rural sanitation project awarded on September 2, 2016, and estimated to be completed by November 9, 2020.
