Celebrate Global Handwashing Day (GHD) on October 15, 2018. Organized by the Global Handwashing Partnership, this important international advocacy day is dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap (HWS). HWS is one of the most effective and affordable ways to prevent diarrhea and pneumonia––the leading causes of death for children under the age of 5.
