Moving India towards Sanitation for All (MISAAL)

The Moving India towards Sanitation for All (MISAAL) activity will provide technical support to local governments, focused in the cities of Udaipur, Navsari, Mysuru and Ahmedabad. The technical support will help implement the GOI’s flagship programs the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM)/Clean India Campaign and the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT). This three-year long activity will help local governments sustain open defecation free statuses by building local government capacity in WASH management, demonstrating proven processes for sanitation planning, and providing regulatory and policy support in the WASH sector.  Lessons learned from these activities will be shared with state and national governments.
