USAID Municipal Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Enhances the Capacities of Stakeholders in Côte d’Ivoire

This article developed by USAID’s Municipal Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (MuniWASH) Activity describes two training events held between September and October 2023 for micro, small, and medium enterprises and local elected officials in Côte d’Ivoire. The first aimed to improve the operational reliability of providers and suppliers of sanitation services and products. The second focused on common harmful gender stereotypes and biases in the development context, which participants committed to combating within their respective municipalities based on what they’d learned.
