USAID’s Water Warriors
In 2020, USAID launched the Water Warrior Awards to recognize the dedication of USAID Mission staff and their important role in advancing the Agency’s investments in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Since then, USAID has named two Water Warrior awardees each year. The award is for Mission WASH leads who work with local partners and communities to increase sustainable access to water and sanitation and strengthen water resources management.
