Overview
Zambia was designated a High Priority Country in 2021. USAID is working with partners in Zambia to:
- Â Increase access to basic water services for 1.5 million people
- Provide basic sanitation to 1.5 million people
- Strengthen 150 water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) institutions
- Mobilize roughly $5 million of private investments for the WASH sector.
