Guatemala

In 2021, Guatemala was designated as a High-Priority Country. USAID is working with partners in Guatemala to:

• Increase access to safely managed drinking water for 500,000 Guatemalans
• Increase access to safely managed sanitation services for over 100,000 Guatemalans
• Mobilize at least $800,000 for water, sanitation, and hygiene products and services, and for climate-resilient water resources management
• Strengthen 125 water and sanitation sector institutions to manage water resources and/or improve water supply and sanitation services
