Through the Sustainable WASH Systems Learning Partnership (SWS), USAID is working in Ethiopia to strengthen local learning networks for urban sanitation. USAID identified organizations involved in the provision of sanitation services to participate in Learning Alliances in two urban locations. Learning Alliances aim to increase collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of local sanitation services.
This webinar highlighted progress made in the two sanitation Learning Alliances, including the mid-term results of a longitudinal Organizational Network Analysis conducted to understand the relationships, interactions, and changes over time among sanitation actors. Lessons learned from Ethiopia offer important insights on how to improve sustainable service delivery through locally led systems change. In addition, this webinar offers insights for program managers on how to use systems analytic tools to measure change.
