Climate Change

Climate change refers to long-term changes in the climate of the planet, a region, or a city, with impacts that can shift temperatures in the oceans and the atmosphere and alter the hydrological cycle. USAID incorporates climate change in strategic planning, program design, and project implementation across a wide range of development sectors, and helps make communities around the world more resilient through the Agency’s support of climate adaptation efforts. This collection page features a variety of technical, multimedia, and learning resources showcasing how integration of climate considerations into development programming can improve water security, food security, health, infrastructure, disaster preparedness, and more.
