We are pleased to share that on February 1, we officially kicked off Year 3 of the USAID Gap Inc. Women + Water Alliance (W+W Alliance)! And we’re happy to share a few highlights from the recent 3rd annual All Partners Workshop in Delhi, India that took place February 5-6. Here are a few highlights from our gathering:
- The workshop allowed partners to discuss learnings from last year (Year 2 of the partnership) and celebrate successes such as the 19,712 women who graduated from the P.A.C.E. program in Madhya Pradesh (and a total of 38,792 women enrolled to-date).
- In addition, partners reviewed their coordinating activities, and plan for further communicating about our work, as well as engaging with key government stakeholders.
- We also discussed the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Assessment findings for the state of Maharashtra to inform our implementation strategies. This assessment focused on the gender, market, and governance dynamics affecting WASH needs in the state.
