Between 2016–2022, USAID’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Finance (WASH-FIN) Activity developed this curated collection of training materials and tools from its diverse engagements with governments, sector regulators, public and private service providers, financers, civil society, and other stakeholders as it worked to mobilize finance for expanding water and sanitation services. These tools and trainings offer a wide array of adaptable resources for WASH practitioners designed to support their efforts to mobilize finance and expand services.

A financial recovery planning tool developed to assist public water and sanitation companies (WASCOs) in Kenya in assessing the impact of COVID-19 on their cost/revenue drivers, as well as guide the prioritization of recovery interventions. The tool guides WSPs to a focused and strategic plan to recover from COVID-19 pandemic impacts as efficiently as possible.
