Provincial Integrated and Inclusive Water Security Framework and Planning Guide

The Provincial Integrated and Inclusive Water Security Framework (PIIWSF) and Planning Guide, produced by USAID Safe Water, recognizes that achieving water security at the local level involves multiple dimensions of water management.  It builds on the Integrated Water Resources Management approach and focuses on three core pillars of water security: improved service provision, enhanced water resources management, and strengthened water sector governance. The PIIWSF is tailored to guide local government units in the Philippines to prepare water security plans.
