Making the case for increasing the use of data in WASH and WRM

Summary

As global challenges such as climate change and population growth increase, the use of data-driven strategies will become increasingly important to help governments, and their partners provide resilient and sustainable WASH services. This article, produced by USAID’s Water Security, Sanitation, and Hygiene Data and Analytics (WSSH D&A) Activity, highlights key characteristics of evidence-informed decisions, explores the importance of data-driven decision making, and discusses tools and opportunities for increasing the use of data for decision support in the WASH and WRM sectors.
