Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Practices of Poor and Underserved Populations in Benin and Côte D’Ivoire

In October 2021, the USAID-funded Municipal Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (MuniWASH) Activity finalized a household survey in 16 municipalities in Benin and Côte d'Ivoire. The goal of this study was to better understand water and sanitation issues at the household level, particularly among poor and underserved populations. Through a quantitative and qualitative data collection effort, MuniWASH analyzed the needs and the expectations of these populations.
