Diagnosis of the market for sanitation and handwashing products in the regions of Zinder and Maradi, Niger

Summary

This study is part of the development of an overall market development strategy aimed at improving the availability and supply of improved toilets and handwashing products in the Maradi and Zinder Regions of Niger.

This work was carried out by the PSI/Practica group, in close collaboration with the Resilience and Food Security Activities (RFSAs) Hamzari, Girma, and Wadata and their partners TerresEauVie (TEV) and Sahel Collaboration and Communication (SCC), as part of the PRO-WASH program which aims to strengthen the effectiveness and sustainability of WASH interventions associated with the development and emergency food security activities funded by USAID's Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance.
