The USAID-funded Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Partnerships and Learning for Sustainability (WASHPaLS) Project invites you to a presentation and discussion on sanitation enterprises and design considerations. WASHPaLS will present a detailed discussion of the elements of a sanitation enterprise including mechanisms and practices, design approaches, and key considerations based upon the findings a recent WASHPaLS desk review. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with a panel comprising Anddy Omoluabi and Nneka Akwunwa, WaterAid Nigeria; Geoff Revell, WaterSHED Cambodia; Sanjay Singh, PSI India; and Rishi Agarwal, FSG.

Subhash Chennuri | Associate Director, FSG
Subhash Chennuri supports FSG's Water Access, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practice area and is a member of FSG’s Inclusive Markets approach area. Subhash focuses on identifying market-based solutions and ecosystem interventions to drive sustainable social change. He has worked across WASH, low-income housing, and education sectors in India.
Subhash holds a M.B.A from Cranfield School of Management and a B.Engg. from the University of Pune.
Jesse Shapiro, Senior WASH Advisor, USAID
Jesse Shapiro is the Environmental Health Team Lead and a Senior WASH Advisor and Sanitation Focal Point at USAID based in the Global Health Bureau. He is focused on WASH policy development, organizational capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and provision of technical assistance to governments in the WASH sector.
Jeff Albert, Deputy Director, WASHPaLS Program
Jeff Albert is Deputy Project Director of WASHPaLS and co-founder of the Aquaya Institute. He is a WASH professional with over two decades of research experience, including 12 years in international development.
