The Virtual Conference on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in Schools provides an opportunity to hear the latest research and programming on menstrual health and hygiene from around the world. This year's conference will focus on the 'MHM in Ten' five priorities identified for transforming MHM in schools by 2024.

The virtual conference will be convened on October 30, 2018 at the Water Institute at the University of North Carolina’s annual Water & Health Conference and streamed live online around the world.

The Virtual Conference on MHM in Schools enables the global sharing of new ideas and 'lessons learned', and connects people working on MHM in schools in a wide range of countries.  This gives online participants an opportunity to network, discuss key issues of relevance for advancing the agenda of MHM in schools, and identify potential future collaborations beyond their usual organizational or geographical boundaries.

In 2017, the one-day virtual conference brought together an estimated 1,000 participants from over 60 countries around the world.
